Authorisations

All our products are CE labelled.

Shipping and handling

Costs related to the delivery of a product are paid by the customer - unless otherwise agreed. All our products are shipped with a freight company, and they are responsible for ensuring that the product is shipped intact and on time.

B-Bikes reserves the right to choose which companies and form of freight to use.

Errors or omissions

In case of defects or deficiencies in the product or service sent, B-Bikes undertakes to remedy the problem.

Purchase of product or service

When purchasing products or services performed by B-Bikes, you as a customer must agree to our conditions for doing business with B-Bikes.

These terms and conditions must be read on the website - If you as a customer have any questions, please contact us as soon as possible.

Child seat, child restraints and liability

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that children in the carrier are safely and securely restrained. It is also the user's responsibility to ensure that the child seat is correctly mounted in the bracket that is mounted in the carrier.

Do not ride the cargo bike if children are not safely and securely strapped in.

Complaints about a product

The buyer is obliged to inspect the product upon delivery, and the buyer is obliged to immediately complain about any errors or defects, immediately within 2 days.

The Buyer may not later claim defects that could have been detected during the prescribed inspection. The same shall apply if the Buyer fails to complain in time about any defects found at a later date.

Complaints regarding faults or defects must be made in writing and immediately upon discovery. This complaint must contain an account of any errors and/or defects that B-Bikes is guilty of.

In the event of a complaint about defects or deficiencies, B-Bikes is entitled to inspect any defects or deficiencies before B-Bikes decides whether the defects still give B-Bikes an obligation to remedy the defects or deficiencies complained of. If the buyer fails to fulfil the rules laid down in this provision, he shall forfeit any right to compensation.

All products that are maintained according to our instructions are covered by a 2-year statutory warranty.

You should also be aware of the rules on how to maintain an e-bike battery. If the rules for the maintenance of our battery are not followed, your warranty will be cancelled.

If you begin to modify, construct or repair parts and/or the product yourself, your warranty on the part or product in question will lapse.

If, within the first 6 months, a defect occurs in the purchased product, there is a presumption that the defect was present at the time of delivery - hence the so-called "presumption rule". The starting point here is that the defect must be remedied at the dealer's/our expense. However, the presumption rule is waived if you as a consumer have not maintained and complied with the above rules.

  • 0-6 months: The presumption rule applies.
  • 6-24 months: the consumer must prove that the defect complained of was present at the time of delivery.

Complaints for service or repair

The customer is obliged to inspect the work upon collection and immediately draw attention to any faults or defects. Defects that could have been discovered during this inspection cannot be claimed later than 14 days after the vehicle has been handed over.

If a fault occurs, the complaint must be submitted immediately after detection and by using our complaint form. B-Bikes must have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before deciding whether there is a justified complaint and possible rectification.

A deposit of 1 hour of labour is taken to review the vehicle. If the claim is approved in whole or in part, the corresponding amount will be refunded.

Even with thorough service and repair, faults can occur that cannot be predicted. Examples include wearing parts such as tyres, hoses, cables and chains that give way. These types of faults can be hidden under external components and therefore cannot always be detected during regular service.
Therefore, B-Bikes cannot be held liable for faults arising from hidden or sudden defects that could not be recognised at the time of delivery.

Fill out the complaint form here: www.b-bikes.dk/reklamation

Right of cancellation

If the buyer regrets the purchase of a product, we will exchange or refund the money within 14 days if the item is returned to us unused and in its original packaging. If the item is customised, it will not be exchanged.

You have 14 days to notify us that you regret your purchase and 14 days to return it to us.

ATTENTION. If the cargo bike was purchased from one of our dealers, the dealer's rules apply. Please contact your dealer.
