CHILD SEAT, CHILD RESTRAINTS AND LIABILITY
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that children in the truck bed are safely and securely restrained. Likewise, it is the user’s responsibility to ensure the child seat is correctly mounted in the bracket that is mounted in the truck bed.
Do not ride the cargo bike if children are not safely and securely restrained.
COMPLAINT ABOUT A PRODUCT
The buyer is obliged to inspect the product upon delivery, and the buyer is also obliged to immediately complain about any defects or deficiencies within 2 days.
The buyer cannot later claim defects that could have been detected during the prescribed inspection. The same applies if the buyer later fails to complain in due time about defects that have been discovered.
Complaints regarding faults or defects must be made in writing and immediately upon discovery. This complaint must contain an account of any faults and/or defects that B-Bikes is guilty of.
In the event of a complaint about faults or defects, B-Bikes shall be entitled to inspect any faults or defects before B-Bikes decides whether the defects still require B-Bikes to remedy the faults or defects complained about. If the buyer fails to comply with the rules laid down in this provision, he shall be deprived of any right to compensation.
All products that have been maintained according to our instructions are covered by a 2-year warranty in accordance with the law.
Also be aware of the rules on how to maintain an e-bike battery. If the rules for maintenance of our battery are not followed, your warranty will be void.
If you start to modify, construct or repair parts and/or the product yourself, your warranty on the part or product in question will be void.
If, within the first 6 months, the purchased product is found to be defective, there is a presumption that the defect was present at the time of delivery – hence the so-called “presumption rule”. The starting point here is that the defect must be remedied at the dealer’s/our expense. However, the presumption rule is waived if you as a consumer have not maintained and complied with the above rules.
- 0-6 months: The presumption of innocence applies.
- 6-24 months: The consumer must prove that the defect complained of was present at the time of delivery.
COMPLAINT ABOUT A SERVICE
If a brake cable breaks, a sudden defective brake, or dirt in a brake – which causes a bike to pull crookedly or not be able to brake, B-Bikes cannot be held responsible for this, as there is no way we can predict this.
During service or repairs, we cannot see if there might be a frayed brake cable inside the outer cable, just like with hydraulic brakes – no pressure testing of the system is done.
We can’t predict a sudden hydraulic brake failure. However, we will usually see a leak in the hoses. If a tire, tube, cable, chain or anything else bursts after a service, B-Bikes cannot be held responsible for this, as we cannot foresee it happening.
The buyer is obliged to examine the service that has been provided upon delivery, and the buyer is also obliged to immediately complain about any defects or deficiencies. The buyer cannot later claim defects or faults that could have been detected during the prescribed inspection.
The same applies if the buyer later fails to complain in due time about defects or faults that have been discovered. Complaints regarding faults or defects must be made in writing and immediately upon discovery. This complaint must contain an account of any faults or defects that B-Bikes is guilty of.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

You have 14 days to notify us that you regret your purchase and 14 days to return it to us.
NOTE. If the cargo bike was purchased from one of our dealers, the dealer’s rules apply. Therefore, contact your dealer.
