History of B-Bikes

Frank Remmer von Barner, a passionate and visionary entrepreneur, founded B-Bikes in 2013. His passion for craftsmanship and skill laid the foundation for the start of the company, where he started by importing bicycles and assembling them in his own garage. This craft quickly caught the attention of the local community.

With the establishment of a Bicycle Workshop, B-Bikes took a big step forward. Frank and his team’s commitment to quality work secured the company a loyal customer base that appreciated their exceptional service

In 2015, B-Bikes entered into a significant partnership with Greve Municipality’s Daycare and Institutions for the service of their cargo bikes, which effectively expanded the company’s activities and visibility. This collaboration was later expanded, and there are now more municipalities throughout the country that also benefit from B-Bikes’ expertise and dedicated service.

The further development with the launch of onsite bicycle service strengthened B-Bikes’ position on the market. This initiative enabled direct and flexible service for customers.

In 2018, B-Bikes opened a service center in Karlslunde, employing 24 experienced mechanics, thereby expanding its service capacity and business scope.

B-Bikes services all PostNord Cargo bikes and scooters throughout Denmark, which demonstrates the company’s extensive coverage and commitment to providing quality service to a wide range of customers.

The opening of new branches in Randers and Fredericia cemented B-Bikes as a leading player in the bicycle industry in Denmark. The company’s development was recognized by receiving the Børsen Gazelle Award in 2023, where B-Bikes was proudly named as regional winner, underlining the company’s prominent position and significant growth in the industry.

By establishing partnerships with bicycle manufacturers on a global scale, B-Bikes has promoted innovative solutions within the bicycle industry. In addition, the company specializes in servicing and producing custom-made vehicles for our Last Mile customers, which underlines their knowledge and commitment to providing tailored and efficient solutions for both business and private.

Today, B-Bikes employs 50 people and the company spans a wide range of customers: everything from private customers, municipalities, institutions, care centres, private companies and Last Mile customers. This diversity reflects B-Bikes’ ability to meet a wide range of needs with their expertise and dedicated service.
